自性光音天(5)
The Realization of the Inalienable Rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
佛陀如是說，初禪有三個天，天人長相不同，想法一致，即若干身一想。二禪有三個天，每位天人長相一模一樣，想法各自不同，即一身若干想。三禪以上禪天，無想天除外，長相一樣，想法一致，即一身一想。(參考長阿含卷八眾集經、卷九十上經、卷十增一經，七識住。)
二禪有光音天、無量光天和少光天。天人長得一個模樣，没有男女老少的分別。但是，各自想法不同，各有自我意識。因此，佛陀以光音天代表二禪，稱之自性光音天。
遊歷二禪的禪行者，別只說「定生喜樂」，應說出自性光音天，並把握「自性」的真義，遇到天人甲，不能視為天人乙，不能張冠李戴。就如同人類的同卵雙胞胎，長得一個樣子，個性不同，各有其名，不能混淆。
而，所謂個性不同，不只是想法不同，每個人的自我意識也個別。
不過，光音天人有其共同心聲：
We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Individuals are equal, that they are Naturally endowed with certain Inalienable Rights, among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
光音天不設政府，所以，天人不用進一步說出：
In order to secure these Rights, governments are instituted among every sovereign, deriving their just powers from the consent of the Sovereigns.
光音天人是眾生的由來。世間形成後，光音天人最早來到世間。(見長阿含卷六、四姓經)
佛陀說自性光音天，應有其特殊用意。
