I hear the “Exodus Song” again!

Several days ago,

「This land is mine, God gave this land to me.」

Oh my God! The “Coffee shop” 播放 “Exodus Song”!

「This brave and golden land to me!」

Andy Williams 唱的，Pat Boone唱 This brave and “ancient” land. Fine!

「And When the morning sun, reveals her hills and plains.」

閉著眼，仍關不住淚水？

「Then I see a land, where children can run free!」

我站起來，走出咖啡店，以免放聲大哭，驚動隣座。

「So take my hand and walk this land with me!」

「And walk this lovely land with me!」

Children? Walk with me? 手牽手，心連心？

自從祖孫不同姓

我不見兒子。過年前，他會帶我的孫子回來！我帶著寶貝孫子的照片，在外面想念，等他們回去！

“Exodus Song”的歌詞，表達我的完整願望。

大學畢業十年後，回母校念書，用了六年時間，撰寫「人權之法理基礎」(一九八三)，為了完成心願。

一九八七年四月，為了遷移被強制挖掘的祖墳，我向「veri-fone」，自請lay-off。自我放逐，從此，”Exodus Song”伴隨著我。

我經常大聲唱出，淚水滿面，避開家人，仍繼續唱！

高信義醫師生前，我寫給他一封信，表達他為我發送「天祐台灣」的謝意，並特別提到”Exodus Song”對我的特殊意義。淚水沾滿信紙，從此，不再唱此歌！也不再唱歌！

高醫師目睹蔣介石的軍隊，在他家前面，槍斃二、三百位青年學生。高醫師老家就在高雄後火車站附近。

高醫師見證一九四七年二二八大屠殺現場之一。因此，一生為了「公義」，完全奉獻。資助民進黨，有求必應。

民進黨如何回報高醫師？

「子女的姓氏，由其父母同意而決定。」

這條法律除剝奪每個家的「姓氏自主」外，能帶給台灣人任何公義？

我完全没料到，民進黨會做出「這種事」，回報我或我們這些老支持者！讓祖孫不同姓!

「To make this land our home.

If I must fight, I’ll fight!」

「To make this land our own.

Until I die, this land is mine(ours)!」

我已不在乎，能否牽著兒子、孫子的手，自由自在散步。

我就是唱不出 ”Exodus song”！

但，我依然獨自行進！ I’m TheWalker!

Oh my God, I hear the “Exodus Song” again,

Its echoes, re-echoes………

「Though I am just a man.

When you are by my side.

With the help of God, I know I Can be strong!」
